About Santiago de Cuba

Getting to Santiago 15.07.2002 from Trinidad by Minibus. Costs: 40$ per person. We were persuaded to take the minibus, but we recommend the more comfortable Viazul-bus
20.07.2002 from Baracoa by Viazul-bus. Costs: 11$ per person
Santiago de Cuba

Santiago is a very lively city and completely different to Havana. It is more western, and the people are more "aggressiv" in trying to get commissions with leading you to a "Restaurant"

We liked Santiago very much, for there are many things to do and see there. Especially if it is carneval-time.
